Wilfrid Laurier University – Brantford Campus
Inspired together.
For more than 100 years, Laurier has been a premier destination for students who want to excel inside and outside of the classroom. Our strong partnerships with the regions we call home bring university learning to life. Our students lead lives of influence and impact through community placements, volunteering and local job opportunities, where students are inspired to give back and make a difference.
Everywhere you look, people are inspired to learn, lead and build lifelong relationships, to give their all and to give back. From staff who take pride in meaningful relationships with students, to faculty who include students in ground-breaking research – you will know and feel you belong at Laurier. Join the Laurier community and create your own story.
No matter how you choose to live your Laurier experience, you are a Golden Hawk, which means you are part of a tight-knit, supportive community that aims high and works hard. Be part of a student experience that inspires.
Our Brantford Campus
On Laurier’s Brantford campus, we’re in the business of transformation. Our programs are mission-driven as we respond to the future of work by creating innovative programs that will fill industry gaps before they even arrive. Across the Faculties of Human & Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Social Work, and the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, our programs are designed to challenge you to make the world a better place for everyone. Programs like Game Design and Development, Business Technology Management and User Experience Design are reinventing the world of work and technology by putting people first.
Our unique architecture and campus feel, where campus and community are one and the same, has become one of our most defining and celebrated features. This changemaker campus integrated into the downtown area has been revitalizing the downtown core of Brantford for more than 20 years, offering a modern learning environment with a small community feel. Historical buildings have been redesigned to foster personal and engaging academic experiences. Through collaborative, sustained partnership, the university campus has developed into a thriving student community. Between classes, enjoy the city’s arts and culture scene, hike world-class trails and explore the scenic Grand River.
Transfer Opportunities
In addition to opportunities for high school applicants, our partnership with several 17³Ô¹Ï colleges allows students to enter university studies with relevant transfer credits that shorten the length of time required to complete a degree.
