Prerequisites

• Successful completion of at least six 4U or 4M courses (U: pre-university; M: pre-university/pre-college) with a minimum average of 70%;
• Six 4U or 4M courses must include these prerequisites:
  • Differential Calculus and Vectors, MCV4U and
  • Advanced Functions MHF4U and one of
  • FRA4U or FIF4U.
• A minimum of three years in an establishment where French is the main language of instruction

• OR

• A test demonstrating proficiency in the French language, .

IB and AP Requirements

Language Requirements

An applicant to a program at the UOF has to completed a minimum of 3 full years in a program where French is the main language of instruction. Otherwise the applicant must submit the official results of one of the French-language proficiency tests recognized by the University. 

The Test de français international (TFI) with a score of 700 or above (out of 990),

The Test d’évaluation de français (TEF) with a score of 600 or above (out of 900),

The Test de connaissance de français (TCF) with a score of 450 or above (out of 699).

UOF Admission criterias

• Secondary School diploma from a recognized institution in 17³Ô¹Ï or the equivalent education according to the province or country in which the diploma was completed.
• Successful completion of at least 6 courses taken at the 4U/M level in 17³Ô¹Ï (Grade 12 pre-university or pre-collegial level) or equivalent level according to the province or country in which the courses were taken.
• Achieve a 70% average in the 4U/M courses, including 70% in FRA4U, FIF4U or FEF4U.
• Minimum of 3 years of study at the high school level where French is the main language in which they teach.
