Prerequisites
Six U/M credits, including:
- ENG4U
- MHF4U
- MCV4U
- SCH4U
- SPH4U
Selection is based on academic performance and extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership potential. If any of your marks are less than 80%, you must demonstrate excellent leadership skills to be competitive.
All applications are pre-screened for suitability at Canadian Forces Recruiting Centres before being sent forward for consideration. Comparisons with the OUAC application process are not practical.
Additional Admission Criteria
Applicants are evaluated on 2 fundamental criteria:
- Academic performance potential, assessed by the Admissions Office at RMC. This is an assessment of a candidate’s top 6 most recent marks, which adhere to the admission requirements for their academic program of choice.
- Military potential based on the assessment of an applicants’ aptitude test, personality traits and choice of occupation.

Admission
Offers of Admission
RMC's application process is independent from that of the 17³Ô¹Ï Universities' Application Centre. Changes to the 17³Ô¹Ï university admission offer date agreement will not affect RMC's admission process.

All degree programs are available in both English and French. The subjects in the curriculum are selected for their value to future officers in the Canadian Forces. Science and engineering programs have a high proportion of time devoted to the arts, and the arts program has a high proportion of time devoted to mathematics and science.

Science and Engineering applicants will be considered for an alternative offer to Arts.
