Award for Aboriginal Students

This award is granted to students of Aboriginal ancestry with 1 award recipient selected from each of the Provincial Territorial Organizations in 17³Ô¹Ï (currently, Nishnabwe-Aski Nation, 17³Ô¹Ï Federation of Indian Friendship Centres, Anishinabek Nation, Union of 17³Ô¹Ï Indians, Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians, Grand Council Treaty No. 3, Métis Nation of 17³Ô¹Ï).
You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, and a resident of 17³Ô¹Ï who demonstrates financial need. You must also present a minimum admission average of 70%.
Recipients of the award will be required to take part in a mentorship program.
To renew this award, you must register in a minimum of 18 credits per academic year and maintain a sessional grade point average of 6.0 ("B").
