You must be academically eligible for admission. The scholarship is granted to a first-year student who is a graduate of an 17³Ô¹Ï school board with an interest in pursuing a career in education and social service. Demonstrated leadership skills, volunteer service, commitment to the community and a love of music may be attributes of the successful candidate.

The applicant must be an 17³Ô¹Ï resident, as specified by the 17³Ô¹Ï Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Students qualify on the basis of financial need. The applicant must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a protected person under subsection 95(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada).
